Mr. Independent
Nico has become a very independent boy these days. He insists on eating 'on his own' so we have taken to naked mealtime since he doesn't always seem to know where the food goes. He also likes to now choose which toy to play with instead of being content with whatever is around! It is really fun watching him pull each one out of his play basket, give it a nibble and then toss it aside until he finds one that is chomp worthy.

Butternut
Unfortunately Nico had a skin reaction to the avocado so we have moved on and found butternut squash ... yum yum

June gloom is officially here and although we will miss the sunny beach days, there is something wonderful about bundling up and going out to breakfast together as a family!
Avocado Face
Nico tried his first food this weekend - delicious AVOCADO. He had quite a good time exploring the new texture and taste. His smile says it all ... this lil' guy absolutely loves food!!!
Nico & Evalina
These two have become so close over the past few months. It is amazing to see them light up when they find each other on the play mat and Evalina continues to make Nico crack up like nothing else we have seen! What a precious friendship to watch develop ... we are so thankfful for Evalina and her wonderful parents Shawn and Abbie!
