NFL Lineup

While Celeste was here we went on  beautiful beach walk and had lunch with our friends Larissa and Grant.  It was fun to finally get the boys together and catch up with each other.  Based on size, it is pretty clear these lil' chunks are headed for the NFL draft!

Auntie Tina

Auntie Tina came to visit this weekend and we had a blast!  She was so amazing with Nico and we miss her already.  Thanks so much for coming down and helping while Bri is away ... 

Daddy's First Trip

Bri had to leave for his first work trip on Saturday so Friday afternoon was filled with lots of Daddy time ... absolutely adorable these two!

Lovely Ladies

Nico got to spend time with lots of beautiful ladies this week.  Cousin Claire met up with us for a sunny walk and quick lunch before she headed back up north.  Bella Diane was the guest speaker at our PEP class so Nico got a quick cuddle with her on Wednesday and we stopped by the CC Studio on Friday so he could meet some of the team ... he can't wait for his Valentine's date with you Jaclyn!

We got a surprise visit from cousin Claire today and we really put to her to work.  She got to change a diaper and Nico's whole outfit since he decided to pee all over himself and her.  They then played together until nap time and Claire bounced him into dreamland ... she is already a pro with baby Nico!

We got a lucky few minutes with PoppaBear before our music group yesterday.  Nico adored being in his arms and really tried to impress him with his strong legs standing pose ... how fast he is growing!

Aunt Vicky and Great Grandma Jan

Saturday Nico got to meet his Great Grandma Jan and Great Aunt Vicky.  He had a ball laughing and playing with both of them.  It was so much fun to see him interacting with everyone ... what a lucky boy to have so much love!!!

Visit with Great Great Grandma Isha

Friday was a very special day for Nico.  We went on our first car trip down to LA and he got to meet his Great Great Grandma Isha who is 103 years old ... she has been so excited about his arrival! It was incredibly touching to see her with him and he just loves the beautiful blanket she knit for him (shown in the pictures above).  We are so lucky to have gotten some time with her while we were there and look forward to being back soon.

Nico has been incredibly spoiled with amazing gifts from friends and family since his birth (and long before).  He has just recently gotten into looking at things and two of his favorite objects to ponder over are  these beautiful hand knit pieces. Zeta the Zebra was made by Karen George ... Nico just loves laying in his crib and 'chatting' with his new friend.  Bert was given to us by Uncle Daniel along with a basket full of handmade family goodies for Nico to enjoy as he grows.  He can't wait to meet both of you!
